The Gentec HT618 Hydraulic Weld-On Thumb gives small and compact excavators better control when handling logs, rocks, brush, concrete, demolition debris, and other loose or irregular material. It works with your excavator bucket to grab, hold, sort, and position material that is difficult to manage with the bucket alone.
Built specifically for excavators under 3,900 lb, the compact 6" x 18" design adds hydraulic gripping control without putting an oversized thumb on a smaller machine. The thumb retracts close to the excavator stick to help limit interference when digging.
This is a strong fit for contractors, landscapers, farmers, and property owners using compact excavators for land clearing, property cleanup, landscaping, and light demolition.
